The three walks described on these pages are run by independent local guides, two listed on GuruWalk and one on freetour.com, and a spot on any of them is reserved on that platform's own page for the walk. What this site has is a single email address, and anything sent to it is read. A correction, a missing free attraction, or a flat disagreement that a page is wrong are all equally welcome, and a short message works better than a long one.

Not every message carries the same weight. Some notes change what these pages say, either by flagging a fact that has slipped or by naming something the site has missed altogether. If a message falls into one of the categories below, it goes straight to the top of the pile.

• Details drift. Start times shift, meeting points move, a route gets handed to a different guide. If something here no longer matches the walk itself, say so and the page gets corrected. There is no price to go stale, since every walk is free and pay what you want.
• A walk that has stopped running or quietly reshaped itself. • A guide whose free walk is absent. It gets looked at the same way the existing walks were. No guide pays to appear on this site, and no guide can pay for a higher place on any page.
• Plain questions count as well, whether they concern the FAQ or something buried in the guides.

Two details from the confirmation deserve a close look before anyone writes in. One is the meeting point: Reykjavik guides gather at exact spots, a named square, a church step, a corner by the harbour, and a fuzzy description is where groups slip past each other.
